Mission statement

At Anga* we leverage public and private partnerships to create cultural events and services (projects) for the enrichment of communities in Central & Eastern Europe. As an association of professionals, we design new projects to inform and empower our audience while creating value for our partners.

*Anga in Sanskrit means a small part of the whole and as such, we aspire to become the vital spark in invigorating the flame of collective culture.

 
 

Broader Defenition

Anga is an independent non-profit organization creating and promoting projects in the realm of arts, culture and education. Anga acquires and disseminates information on public and EU funding opportunities, specializes in research and proposal writing, and actively participates in implementing its projects either as a coordinator or partner. Anga will also seek private funds for its projects from businesses and enterprises (small to medium) through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budgets. Anga will create partnerships with stakeholders with a view to enriching communities in Central and Eastern Europe through its cultural projects in a broad range of fields such as festivals, concerts, educational projects, culinary events, national exhibitions, artistic exhibitions etc.

Anga’s guiding principles are:

i) To increase inclusivity and social unity through the power of culture.

ii)To democratise art and make it accessible.
