Job Title 2 out of 2: Research Assistant

 

To holds meetings with ANGA members and clients to discuss project objectives and budget. RA will research to initiate projects. They will identify potential projects and funds to seek and will pitch them to the board. Regardless of the work environment, all research assistants have a duty to select appropriate research methodologies and techniques for assigned projects, acquire research supplies and equipment from vendors, coordinate an effective research team, and ensure completion of the project on time and on budget.

 

Role:

·      Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research projects.

·      To report on a daily basis to the Anga founder.

·      Research for all funds, grants, and prospective collaborations and compile a list.

·      Identify areas of improvements and develop new methodologies to meet milestones.

·      Present their research findings to the founder in an understandable manner.

·      Work with management in the preparation of project budget and schedule.

·      Monitor and control expenses within the allotted budget.

·      Follow and enforce state and federal regulations.

·      Interact with the accounting department in processing payments and approving grants.

·      Stay abreast with the latest developments in research tools and techniques.

·      Analyze and resolve research issues promptly and accurately.

·      Perform cost negotiation and finance and schedule management activities.

·      Coordinate with management in determining research priorities and developing a research roadmap.

·      Identify key challenges and develop appropriate solutions.

·      Ensure that research deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
